The Canadian Chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association is extremely excited to resume organizing coffee competitions as sanctioned by World Coffee Events.

This year, the National Cup Tasters Competition will be hosted by Eight Ounce Coffee at Festival Hall in Calgary, Alberta. The winner will proceed to represent Canada at the World Cup Tasters Championship, May 7-9, 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

To be eligible to compete in the Cup Tasters Championships, the competitor must have lived for full 24 months in Canada by the date of WCTC 2026. World Coffee Events holds the final decision pertaining to the eligibility of a Champion. Please read the Rules and Regulations carefully for WCTC to ensure that for any other reasons, you may not be eligible to compete at Worlds.

Competitor tickets are limited to one per person, and tickets are non-transferable. The reservation of a spot to compete by purchasing this ticket is final. We cannot accommodate refunds if you decide to change your mind and/or your circumstances change.

When purchasing the ticket(s) please use a valid email address we can use to send you your ticket and all further communication regarding the upcoming event.

If registration is full, please join the waitlist! Cancellations are a very real possibility!

Please note that if you are on the waitlist, and you receive an email from us offering you a spot, you have 48 hours to accept before we move on to the next person on the waitlist. You will be billed directly by SCA Canada for the registration fee if and when you accept the spot.
