The Canadian Chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association is extremely excited to resume organizing coffee competitions as sanctioned by World Coffee Events.

This year, the National Coffee in Good Spirits (CIGS) competition will be hosted by Restaurants Canada at the RC Show in Toronto, ON. The winner will proceed to represent Canada at the World CIGS Championship, June 27-29th in Copenhagen.

To be eligible to compete in CIGS, the competitor must have lived for full 24 months in Canada by the date of WCIGS 2024. World Coffee Events holds the final decision pertaining to the eligibility of a Champion. Please read the Rules and Regulations carefully for WCIGS to ensure that for any other reasons, you may not be eligible to compete at Worlds.
